As part of Bird Protection Quebec’s centenary year celebrations, BPQ member and Concordia University historian Dr. Robert Tittler has completed an updated history of the Society. The new publication picks up where Bird in the Bush by Margaret Arnaudin Pye leaves off, covering the period from 2002 to 2017.

About the Author
Dr. Robert Tittler is Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Concordia University where he taught History and then Art History for 36 years.
The historian, a.k.a. Bob to his fellow Bird Protection Quebec members, is an avid birder and, along with his wife Anne, can frequently be found in attendance at BPQ week-end field trips and monthly meetings. He also has a passion for making bird nest boxes and suet feeders, which he generously donates to BPQ for sale at monthly meetings!
